Nintendo Switch games news has been dominated by rumours of new launches being planned for this year.

Bayonetta 3 was recently reported as a title Nintendo hopes to see arrive by late summer, although nothing official has been confirmed on the subject.

And it’s not the only big new title that would help beef up the Switch’s prospects of selling another boatload of consoles.

According to new reports this week, The Nintendo Switch Pokemon project has already seen a major leak.

It was recently confirmed that Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima believes that selling 20 million Switchs in the next fiscal year is possible.

Speaking on the subject, as well as the Nintendo Switch’s current successes, Kimishima told Kyoto Shimbun: “It was a bigger hit than we were hoping.

“The unique ability to play it as a home console, but also bring it out with you, was a hit feature.”

Key areas Nintendo are looking to boost in the future is digital content sales, meaning “an abundance of digital content” to bolster the Switch’s lifespan.

And if Nintendo really are hoping to sell such a large amount in the console’s second fiscal year, it would back the recent rumours that the new Pokemon RPG could be arriving near the end of 2018.

Unfortunately, most of all this is just estimates and speculation, meaning fans will have to wait and see if a new Direct event is announced for next w
